Dr. Tapan Pathak is a Cooperative Extension specialist in climate adaptation in agriculture with UC Ag and Natural Resources and UC Merced. His background and expertise are in applied climate science in agriculture, crop modeling applications, and agricultural adaptation research. Dr. Pathak is actively engaged in various state and multi-state research and Extension efforts addressing climate resilience in agriculture. Prior to joining the UCANR in 2015, he served as an Extension faculty at the University of Nebraska with focus on climate applications in agriculture. He received his Ph.D. from University of Florida, M.S. degree from Utah State University, and B.S. from Gujarat Agricultural University in India.”
