Melissa O'Neal

Melissa O’Neal has served in her current role with Marrone Bio Innovations as the Product Development Manager for the southwestern United States since June of 2014. Prior to that time, she worked as a PCA and CCA with Booth Ranches, and was formerly an employee of Dr. Beth Grafton-Cardwell’s citrus entomology laboratory jointly stationed at Lindcove/Kearney Agricultural Research and Extension Centers.

Melissa holds AA and AS degrees from College of the Sequoias, BS in biology from Fresno State, MS in Agriculture from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, and will receive her Doctoral degree in Education from Fresno State in December 2017.

Melissa’s current research interests include entomology, plant pathology, plant health, and weed science. She is also involved with investigations centered on issues affecting women in the science, technology, mathematics, and engineering (STEM) disciplines and the importance of STEM education to overall student success.
