We regularly get calls for Vedalia lady beetle, Rodolia cardinalis. If
you see some and would like to collect some for us we would be happy to
work with you. We can offer cash or credit at the bug farm.
Some of the IGRs apparently decrease the fecundity of the ladybugs so
cottony cushion scale is showing up where it was earlier under control.
Look for trees and shrubs that are ant tended with cottony cushion
scale. look for orange and black pupae, or aligator like larvae.
