Oriental Fruit Moth biofix information - 2006

2-24 Caught one Oriental Fruit Moth north of Reedley, in trap last checked 2-22. Several other traps in area from Dinuba to Reedley were empty. Moth was alive, looked fresh.

OFM has started flying in the Hughson area. My guess the 24th or 25th when we had some warm nights. Found 1 or more OFM in 4 out of 7 traps.

5-25 Reedley - consistent upward swing of OFM trap counts. Traps were last checked one week earlier. Based on weather, I'm guessing the biofix was 5-23.
This would put the spray window (400-500 degree days) at about June 9-12. (As of 6-3)

7- 6 OFM traps north of Reedley increased 7-6, traps last checked 6-29.
